On Wednesday, July 15, from 2–3:30pm the Mashantucket Pequot Museum will host a reading and discussion of Ellison “Tarzan” Brown: The Narragansett Indian Who Twice Won the Boston Marathon.

Paulla Dove Jennings, a friend and relative of the Brown family, will lead a discussion of this biography in the Research Library Reading Room. Copies of the book can be borrowed or purchased from the museum. The event is free but limited to 20 participants, ages 16 and older. To attend you must register by July 8 by calling (860) 396-6897.
